Water Works

Tears flow

like the raging waterfall

On shoulders

down into the sea

Soaking my soul

vast as the ocean

Weakening balance

linked to the lakes

To brain stimulation

through waves that reach rivers

Allowing reality

into still streams

Standing silent

settling into small ponds

Donning patience

easing into puddles

‘Til peace comes

that scatter through enchanted forests
