I’m Scared

There will only be one you

I’ve always been aware

I played with your emotions

Which wasn’t really fair

The love was true

I was precise to take care

Even though I gave devotion

I wasn’t all there

Eventually you got fed up, as folks do

I was not prepared

Threw us away deep into the ocean

All ‘cuz I was too stubborn to say, “I’m scared”
