30 Day Challenge: Day 15

It’s Labor Day and the last day of summer vacation for my little grown people. Well 3 out of 4 of them. So, it is definitely a family day.

We decided to hang out with my parents for a good ‘ole BBQ. It’s the first time my dad has been able to cook out since his stint in the hospital, so of course no one wanted to miss out.

The kids headed over last night so they were already there for the good eats. My dad started barbecuing at the crack of dawn. By the time I arrived everything was pretty much ready.

The entire day was full of hearty conversation and laughter. It was such a pleasant afternoon leading into the evening. We even got our dance on with Just Dance 4 on the Wii.

My mom played super hostess and made sure everyone was full and got tons to take home. Her and my father also gave us extra supplies for the start of school tomorrow.

Once arriving home I had every intention of getting some work done. However, I had to admit that I was so full I didn’t feel like doing a thing but sleeping.

I am loving the inspiration that spending time with my family brings. Today was an awesome time and we needed it because tomorrow it’s back to school. Woo Hoo!
