Day #3 of this 30 day challenge.
I am surprisingly still inspired even though I awoke with a VERY sore body. It didn’t matter because I still pushed through a husky workout. After making my playlist of “hype” music, I went hard for an hour and a half with sweat dripping everywhere. I even did an extra round of everything due to my playlist being longer than my workout and I was still pumped. I’ll probably regret it tomorrow.
Once I took a long, long shower I decided to take my little grown people out to the park. They could run around and play on the playground while Hit Mann videotaped me practicing L.W.B.. At first I was a little weirded out to recite my poem in public but Hit Mann kept reminding me not to pay attention to the passing people. I was able to run through the poem without stumbling or stammering on the first run which made me super proud.
Now, I’m still not ready for the “performance” of the poem but I’m getting there. Aside from stage presence, I have to get used to memorizing the piece. To be honest, I haven’t had to memorize lines since I performed on a regular basis when I was young. Any poem I’ve written in my adult life I do not know by heart, sad to say. Just one more thing for me to work on in this 30 day challenge and I am up for it.
